One said, “I am the supreme Godhead”, the other said, “I am the way, the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me”.
Krishna was respected however Jesus was persecuted. Times were different, people’s mindset was different, laws were different. Lord Krishna was so great in wisdom, that even Kings bowed down to him. Krishna had a whole army behind him that powerful he was. Krishna was not killed out of envy but only for political reasons. All kings would listen to him and obey him. When Krishna performed miracles and said, “I am the supreme godhead”- people said, “Oh, we are so lucky to have you”- they accepted him. This however, was not the case with Jesus.
Jesus was sent on Earth to preach and heal people. The wisdom he preached stunned people, the truth he spoke made people see their own flaws but, instead of seeking wisdom and healing, people felt jealous of him, they saw him as a threat to their power and existence as they felt inferior to him in some way.
These were people from his own family, relatives and hometown/country- Jewish leaders, his peers, priests, his juniors, his seniors, his gurus almost everybody was jealous. They didn’t want to accept that one of them, younger than them, junior to them was higher in spiritual ranking and wisdom. Isn’t he the carpenter’s son? Isn’t he born to Mary? Isn’t he our brother, our cousin? Oh no ways! he cannot be better than us in the eyes of God. That’s why they all bullied, disrespected and belittled him.
Jesus not only preached wisdom, but also gave advise to people who needed it. He healed people miraculously and made provisions for feeding thousands of people. Most importantly Jesus casted out demons in people (addictions) and he uplifted people who were down or almost dead.
Jesus was born at a time, when one word you say against the ruling government, you would straight get executed- that’s why I said, people’s mindset was different, times were different, laws were different. All Jesus said, “You can go to Father through me, I and Father are one”. All he meant was, “whatever you say, express, confess to me, will automatically reach Father”. They killed him………….
