Arjun said to Krishna: “Apne saamne hain”, Krishna replied to him: “Apne hain toh saamne kyu hain?”.

What does B.G chapter 4, verse 7 teach us? The lord himself had to come down and orchestrate Mahabharata to destroy Kauravas to protect the Pandavas. If Krishna had not done this, the mighty Kauravas would have destroyed generations of Hastinapur and not just Pandavas.

Arjun did not want to fight his brothers and gurus but he obeyed Krishna who asked him to fight. Krishna said, “These brothers and your gurus have come here to kill you, their soul is already dead. They are not going to show you any mercy even if you don’t fight, they anyways will kill you.”

God is one right? So what does Jesus teach us? Jesus teaches us to forgive each other as we are brothers and sisters in Christ. Jesus teaches us to repent for our sins and seek deliverance from God. What happens when we don’t repent? When Jesus sees no repentance, he hands over the matter to Father. What happens when Father sees no repentance?

The Bible says, “I will bless those who bless you, and whoever curses you, I will curse and all the people on Earth will be blessed through you”.

The Bible says, “Oh yes, Judgment Day is coming! “I’ll send a famine through the whole country. It won’t be food or water that’s lacking, but my Word. People will drift from one end of the country to the other, roam to the north, wander to the east. They’ll go anywhere, listen to anyone, hoping to hear GOD’s Word—but they won’t hear it.

Mark 6:4 says, “My prophets will not be respected in their own family, relatives and hometown/country and their own people”.

Genesis 12:1 says,” The LORD said to Abram, “Go from your country, your people and your father’s household to the land I will show you. I will make your name great and you will be a blessing to others.

This is so because Jesus’s own people rejected him- some failed to see his anointing, some saw but threatened by his wisdom, they felt inferior to him in many ways which led them to belittle and mistreat him. If he wasn’t respected in his own town, his prophets too will not prosper in their home country.

Similar to Krishna acting on behalf of his people, Father too moves his chosen ones away from their country to protect them from persecution and help them grow their ministry- rise in their purpose away from family, relatives and people of hometown who persecute his children on account of jealousy.

The purpose of this article is to convey the message that we must love our family, be kind, compassionate and forgiving towards all but that doesn’t mean we should allow unrighteous behaviour and tolerate injustice- that’s even a bigger sin.
