Persecution is a test of our faith in God. It is a blessing in disguise.

Persecution is our training ground that makes us feel weary and tired. We may even question the existence of God when things don’t change however, with time it only makes us stronger than before, wiser than before.

God protects those who serve him and even those who don’t believe in him, however, if God chose you for kingdom work, say some mission that has a higher purpose, then persecution is inevitable. It is so because the devil energy in the universe is against works of God and only hence against his chosen ones. It uses people closest to you to drain you because what people closest to you say to you, of you, affects you. These are not bad people, these are people who get easily influenced by the devil energy of envy, hate, lies, lust and greed. That’s why Jesus said on the cross, “Father forgive them, they know not what they do”.

God saw the tears behind your smile. He doesn’t overlook the pain you had to endure on his mission. God’s timing never fails. When you pass the test, God blesses you because,

You kept faith in him in testing times.

You continued to pray even when things didn’t change.

You didn’t blame God when he put you on the cross to save the sinners.

You didn’t give up on the mission, when the devil tried to bury your spirit.

You glorified God’s name when your peace, time and blessings were stolen.

You continued to heal others even when you were healing.

You helped the vulnerable, when you didn’t have enough.

You guarded your heart and forgave those who wronged you.

No, God has not forgotten you…..
