Jesus says, his followers will be hated, because they hated him first. Meaning, people who are jealous of you, gang up on you, have not really understood God, the way you have.
What does Joel Osteen say, do not gaurd your reputation, gaurd your heart. This is so because you will feel tired defending yourself, and fighting every single person who has nothing good to say about you- meaning they have already decided they want to tarnish your name at all cost- they all jumped onto the hate train for no valid reason.
Instead of fighting them all and getting weary, isn’t it better to jump off the hate train and remove yourself from such toxic people? Yes, they hate you for the graceful way you exited by speaking your truth and not needing their validation anymore. Let them build their spiritual karma while you surrender your battles to God. Your purpose will lead to your vindication. Forgive and keep moving forward.
God prepares a table for you in front of your enemies means what?
It means, if God knows you are being attacked simply because he chose you to serve him, he is still going to elevate you if you keep faith in him, focus on your prayers and healing. I will give you classic examples we have seen for ourselves:
