Corporates aiming to create a positive impact:

1. Please start your work day with a collective prayer to almighty God. Thank God, seek his blessings, forgiveness, protection to enable everyone perform well. Mention in prayers- God help me build a positive attitude, help me learn to appreciate others, help others, not envy others.

2. Prioritize training, encouragement, and guidance to help the weak employees advance in their careers. A good leader not only recognizes talent and hard work but also uplifts the weak.

3. Implement a policy that allows women employees to start at 10 am and leave by 6 pm, irrespective of their role or experience, acknowledging their responsibilities outside of work. HR should implement this policy compulsively to ensure managers do not exert pressure on women privately.

4. Introduce a ‘No work/No call’ policy during weekends to emphasize employee well-being and encourage clients to respect personal boundaries.

5. Make annual leaves and mandatory leaves compulsory for all employees to prevent exploitation at the hands of managers and bosses. Managers must inform the HR of team members’ leave plans early in the year, with adjustments subject to approval.

6. Business heads and HR must monitor profit distribution annually to avoid employee exploitation at the hands of CFOs, bosses and managers. Distributing a major chunk only among the top brass however exploiting all other resources with bare minimum salaries and bonuses is financial abuse due to lack of recognition and negligence.

7. Align compensation first with industry standards, then qualifications, experience, and job role to promote a culture of fairness.

8. Avoid hiring on third party payroll to reduce cost. You are not really giving them a career if you pay less, hire and fire them at will. Rather hire employees on payroll and give them the job security they need.

9. We give multi crores as donations for philanthropy but we fire/lay off employees mercilessly? Sure donate but then why not set aside a good percentage of profits each year for contingency situations to avoid layoffs? Why not make employee life stress free w r to job security, work timings and pay scale? Taking care of employees is also a good deed.

10. If a big company has to reduce work force, let me tell you no company today is that poor that they can’t inform the propsective lay off decision to the concerned staff atleast 2 years in advance. This will give employees sufficient time to plan for back up jobs.

11. Please discuss complaints, issues with employees with an open dialouge and transparency. Provide counselling if required however firing employees without discussion, without verification of facts, without warnings is inhumane.

12. Work pressure is increasing day by day. Managers, bosses and senior leadership should constructively cut down unecessary tasks, reports, MIS at individual KRA level to reduce work pressure.
