Krishna said “I am the supreme Godhead”, Jesus said, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the father except through me”. When Lord Krishna declared himself as God, he performed miracles and people accepted him, “Oh we are lucky to have you as our God”. Krishna was so great in wisdom that the kings bowed down to him and so did their kingdom. Krishna had a powerful army behind him. He was not killed out of envy but only for political reasons. However Jesus was rejected because people failed to realise that he was the son of God.
Krishna was accepted and respected but Jesus was rejected and persecuted. Times were different, people’s mindset was different and laws were different. Jesus was born at a time when one word you speak against a hierarchy/ruling government/existing lobby, you would straight get executed. He said, “you can go to father through me” meaning we go to father first through Christ. He further went on to say, “I and father are one”. He meant whatever you say/confess/express to me will automatically reach father”. In those times saying I and father are one meant saying “I am God”. They charged him with blasphemy and crucified him.
